Coppers

So I've just watched the show Coppers, and it was the one with GMP where they were at the protest riots in Bolton. And these are my conclusions from watching said show:

1. People who label coppers 'bullies' are clearly morons who have issues staying on the right side of the law. If you hit someone in everyday life, you'd expect to be hit back, so why should this be different for coppers?
2. The English Defence League is full of said morons. The fact that they spent all day in the pub before the protest, and the fact that one idiot brought an American flag with them, should tell you all you need to know.
3. The fact that the Unite Against Facism group turned on the police before the EDL got there shows that a lot of them clearly weren't there to protest.

I watched this programme with my mum and dad, both of whom work for GMP. Shortly after the show finished, my dad dragged me by the ankles off the couch so I'd go upstairs and he could watch what he wanted. Who says police workers are bullies? ;)
