Snow is something that annoys me massively in this country. We live in a country where it snows at least once a year. And yet, every time it does, the place falls to pieces and everything is suddenly chaos. There were weather warnings about the snow before it happened...so why not be proactive and lay a bit of grit down, seeing as we knew it was going to happen? How has this issue not been resolved yet, in all the years of snow we've had? I mean if, for some bizarre reason, there WAS snow in Africa this Christmas time, then it would be valid if every country on the continent fell to pieces, because I'm doubting they'd be expecting it, or know how to handle it. But we have snow EVERY SINGLE YEAR. A bit of grit really shouldn't be too much to ask.
The one positive I'm taking from the snow is that it gives me an excuse to buy wellies. You're never too old for wellies.
